Our Story
Constructed Wetland Designs was formed by two research engineers with over 25 years of treatment wetland research experience rooted at Montana State University. The research has ranged from the optimization of full scale systems in cold climates to the effects of specific plant species on water treatment, to the fundamental relationships between plants and the subsurface biota they foster. Our team has published over 50 scientific papers and one textbook on treatment wetland technology. Responding to market pressure, we strive to bring the most recent evolutions in constructed wetland technology into practical application. Our greatest strength is working with your team to implement cost effective, natural, literally green treatment of contaminated water sources. We provide design assistance to the engineering community and operation and maintenance assistance to the owner/operator of completed systems.
